Eligibility
Funding is available to young (less than 30 years old) attendees irrespective of nationality. Individuals must be attending High Temperature Materials Division of the Electrochemical Society sponsored or co-sponsored symposia at an International Conference on Solid State Ionics. Funding is limited to $600.00 per individual. Limit of 6 awards for this conference.

How to Apply
Submit your name, paper title being presented, age and address in an e-mail to Marlene Wightman at ssi17@alfred.edu. Please note DOKIYA FUNDS in the subject line. Applications are due by February 27, 2009.

Requests will be forwarded to the Dokiya Symposium Fund administrators at least six weeks prior to the meeting. Applicants will be notified of their status at least one month prior to the meeting. Registration waivers and/or travel grant checks will be available for pick up at the advance registration area of the meeting.
